A song by my favourite band

Ok so I don't have a favourite band, I don't even really like bands to be honest! But Taylor Swift's band is pretty talented and very cool so I'm going with 'Change'. Gutted she didn't sing this song live in Melbourne last year but maybe next time!!

A song that makes me hopeful

This is only a recent song but it makes me hopeful and helps me to remember that dreams aren't wrong, we all need dreams and goals for our life or we wouldn't have anything to hold onto and help us through the bad times. Selena Gomez is one of the very few celebrities I actually respect and admire, I love that she released this song for her fans because she said her fans needed this song.

I think I need to listen to this song every single day! Love it.

A song that reminds me of the past summer

Taylor Swift - Today was a fairytale. One of my besties and I flew from Christchurch to Melbourne to see Taylor Swift in concert, the concert just so happened to be on the same day her movie 'Valentines Day' was released so we went to see the movie that day as well, this will always be one of my favourite memories, I was so awestruck and loved it when paper hearts seemingly started floating from the sky at the beginning of the song!

A song that reminds you of a best friend

Has got to be Black Eyed Peas - My Humps! This reminds me of my dear friend Lucy, when this came out we loved the video and decided we were going to learn the dance so Lucy recorded the video and we were in her lounge just playing the video over and over again till we learnt it! Then every opportunity I would get us to do it for our friends, even now I still remember some of the moves and every time it comes on I think of Luce :)

A song that's often stuck in my head

Ok so unlike the dreaded song that is about a day of the week, I actually like having this song stuck in my head! It's catchy, well written, and has rapping in it...such a WINNING combination!!

So glad Jessie J decided to start writing songs for herself instead of just other artists, nobody does it like Jessie J!!
