Taylor Swift - Today was a fairytale. One of my besties and I flew from Christchurch to Melbourne to see Taylor Swift in concert, the concert just so happened to be on the same day her movie 'Valentines Day' was released so we went to see the movie that day as well, this will always be one of my favourite memories, I was so awestruck and loved it when paper hearts seemingly started floating from the sky at the beginning of the song!

A song that reminds you of a best friend

Has got to be Black Eyed Peas - My Humps! This reminds me of my dear friend Lucy, when this came out we loved the video and decided we were going to learn the dance so Lucy recorded the video and we were in her lounge just playing the video over and over again till we learnt it! Then every opportunity I would get us to do it for our friends, even now I still remember some of the moves and every time it comes on I think of Luce :)

A song that's often stuck in my head

Ok so unlike the dreaded song that is about a day of the week, I actually like having this song stuck in my head! It's catchy, well written, and has rapping in it...such a WINNING combination!!

So glad Jessie J decided to start writing songs for herself instead of just other artists, nobody does it like Jessie J!!

Wow, I just came across this story on Perez Hilton's site.

It is so amazing that this happened to such a huge celebrity such as Demi Lovato, but what's even more amazing is how open and honest she is being about her issues since she was in rehab and worked on those issues. How many people in the public eye would ever do this?!

Demi is so brave and I fully commend her for stepping up to the plate to be a real role model, so many people admire her and look up to her all around the world and she has such a huge chance to really change people's lives and its so great that she is doing everything she can for her fans, especially being honest.

Eminem has always had some kind of calming affect on me, I love 8 Mile and I love almost every single one of his songs...plus I used to think I was going to marry him one day!!

Ok so I have a song for each of my parents because they split up ages ago and also have never really had the same taste in music (plus my dad sings, he thinks it sounds amazing, the rest of us...yeah not so much!)
Tina Arena - Chains is one of the songs I'll always remember my dad singing along to, I even tried to sing it too!
My mum absolutely loves Neil Diamond, she'd always play the tape in the car and I was so embarrassed because I wanted to listen to 'cool' music.
